KL LARUT HOLDINGS SDN BHD (KLLHSB) was incorporated on 03/08/2011 under the Malaysian Companies Act 1965. KLLHSB’s specialist area of business include mining and trading tin ores, metal ores, clay, sand and minerals.
KLLHSB’s associate company, namely, KL Larut Sdn Bhd has secured tin ore mining land measuring a total land area of 1,047.67 acres situated at Bestari Jaya, Mukim of Ulu Tinggi and Mukim of Batang Berjuntai, Selangor. The Director of Land and Mines, Selangor has renewed the existing tin mining lease for a further 10 years commencing 24 March 2020 until 23 March 2030.
It is interesting to note that KL Larut is one of the few experienced and active tin mining companies in the country. The tin ores mined are sold to Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad (MSC). The MSC Group is currently one of the world’s leading integrated producer of tin metal and tin-based products, involved in the upstream and downstream sector of the tin industry through tin mining and custom tin smelting.
